The STAR Service Awards are an important initiative through which the Malta Tourism Authority is able to give public recognition to all those who work directly or indirectly in the tourism industry.

The process is completely tourist-driven and as an incentive for tourists to participate the MTA offers a free holiday back to Malta to one lucky winner.

STAR Service Awards

The Special Thanks And Recognition (STAR) Awards ceremony organised by the Malta Tourism Authority have been running since 2005. This initiative sees to recognise outstanding employees working in the tourism industry.

Hotel Worker of the Year

Hotel Management can nominate one employee for the Hotel Worker of the Year. This application is available to be submitted online. 

 

For Industry Operators

Companies are encouraged to participate in this scheme with the aim to acknowledging the importance of maintaining high standards of service across this dynamic industry. Complimentary nomination forms can be ordered from the Malta Tourism Authority. Free delivery upon request. Using your Vouchers

After submitting an online nomination, guests will be directed to choose a voucher. A confirmation letter with the voucher details will be sent to the email address used by the guests to submit the nomination form. Vouchers need to be presented upon entrance and are subject to terms and conditions. Only one voucher per nomination can be selected.
